ORIGINAL:

Recently, Fox News covered the research done by our group composed of Ph.D. Adviser Dr. Ulas Bagci and Ph.D. students Rodney LaLonde, Naji Khosravan, Aliasghar Mortazi, Harish Raviprakesh, and formerly (now Dr.) Sarfaraz Hussein.

You can view the original article at Fox35 News. If you would like to help support my efforts on this research, please consider donating (even just a dollar :)) to my GoFundMe.

Our Contributions Breakdown

My portion of this research currently is focused on lung segmentation, highlighted in this work. Naji Khosrava created the S4ND lung nodule detection highlighted heavily in this interview. Sarfaraz Hussein's contribution involves the diagnosis on detected nodules featured best in this work. Our group is currently researching both lung nodule detection and lung cancer diagnosis advancements using capsule network architectures among other medical imaging analysis tasks with artificial intelligence.
