HOCKEY
I played ice hockey for the UCF Ice Hockey team during the 4 years of my PhD, twice collecting all-conference and all-regional awards and serving as a captain for 3 years.
Prior to UCF I was recruited to play NCAA Ice Hockey for St. Olaf College after playing 4 years of Junior A hockey in the NAHL from the age of 16.
I played in the NAHL all over the country from Alaska to Texas, to North Dakota to New Jersey and met a lot of amazing people along the way.
